3. Free Estimates and Quotes

• A quote is valid for 30 days from the date it is issued, unless stated otherwise.
• Final prices may change if the project scope, site conditions, or material costs change. We will always discuss any changes with you and get your approval before proceeding.

4. Project Agreement and Payments

• A project begins once you approve our written quote or sign a service agreement.
• A deposit may be required before work starts. The amount and schedule will be stated in your agreement.
• Remaining payments are due according to the payment schedule in the agreement.
• Late payments may delay the project and may be subject to a late fee, as stated in your agreement.

5. Client Responsibilities

To help us complete your project smoothly, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about your property and your requirements.
• Give our team safe and timely access to the work site.
• Tell us about underground utilities, pipes, or cables you know of on your property.
• Obtain any permits or approvals that are the property owner’s responsibility, unless we have agreed to handle them in writing.

6. Schedules and Weather Delays

We will do our best to complete work on the agreed schedule. However, weather, plant availability, material delivery, and site conditions may cause delays. We will keep you informed and agree on a new timeline if needed.

7. Changes to the Project

Any change to the design, materials, or scope must be agreed in writing. Changes may affect the price and the completion date.

8. Cancellations

• You may cancel a project before work begins. Deposits may be non-refundable if we have already purchased materials or started design work.
• If you cancel after work has started, you will be responsible for the work completed and materials ordered up to that point.

9. Plants, Materials and Warranty

• We use quality plants and materials. Plants are living things, and their success depends on proper care after installation.
• Where a plant warranty is offered, it will be described in your agreement, and it will not cover damage caused by lack of watering, extreme weather, pests, pets, or improper maintenance.
• Natural variations in colour, size, and growth may occur and are not considered defects.

10. Maintenance Services

If you sign up for a maintenance plan, the visit schedule and tasks will be listed in your agreement. Either party may end a maintenance plan with [30] days’ written notice.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, LeafLife is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for damage caused by hidden site conditions (such as unmarked underground utilities), natural events, or work carried out by others. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us for the relevant service.

13. Intellectual Property

After payment, you may use them for your own property. You may not copy or sell them without our permission.

With your consent, we may photograph completed projects and use them in our portfolio and marketing. You may ask us not to use photos of your property at any time.
